Error No Datasets Found

"No Datasets Found" error message when you sync via wifi? Try Remote Address or Manual Entry and enter the remote URL in manually

URL is the ip address of the computer running SIS Liberty, it can be found under the Destinations tab

If datasets still cannot be found:

  • Ensure that your recipients in SIS Liberty were updated successfully

  • Ensure Discovery Update Service is running successfully in SIS Liberty. Test the connection to confirm.

  • If Discovery Update Service did not test successfully, check the Destinations tab and verify that the Data Path to the service is correct and accessible by the user. Test the Destination to ensure that it tests successful. By default the DUS destination path will be directed to the users Documents folder, if this is being re routed to a shared server, you may change the path to main hard drive C:\Program Files \Discovery Software\Destinations\Discovery Update Service then test again.

  • If UAC (User Access Control) is blocking the Service from running, run SIS Liberty as local admin or set Firewall Advance Security settings

You may now sync your device as normal.

To set SIS Liberty to run as local admin:

  • Go to C:\Program Files\Discovery Software\SIS Liberty
  • Right click on sislib_ui.exe and choose Properties
  • Under the Compatibility tab, check the box that says "Run this program as an administrator"
  • Click OK to save changes

SIS Liberty will now always run as local admin
