Using a WiFi adapter to create a wireless network

If you do not have a WiFi adapter you may need to purchase one. They generally retail for between $5-20$. If you do a search for "wifi adapter" or "wireless network adapter" you should be able to find a few options. They may also be referred to as a "WiFi dongle". If you are having difficulties finding an option, please do not hesitate to contact our support department and we will help you locate a local retailer.

After purchase, you will need to install and setup the WiFi adapter as per the manufacturer's instructions.

Typically this will involve running their install software from the provided media (CD, etc), and then inserting the device in the USB port of your computer.

Please make sure to follow the instructions provided with the device, as each manufacturer's installation instructions are different.
